At Beacon Global Group, Inc we take privacy seriously and will only use personal information to provide services to prospects and clients that have requested it. We process data on the legal basis that our prospects and clients have a "legitimate interest" in receiving our newsletter, attending our events, receiving useful information from us, and generally staying in touch.
Beacon Global Group, Inc along with our financial education division, Beacon Financial Education collect personal data in compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Registration (GDPR). We will not sell, share or rent this Personal Data other than described in this Policy. Any third-party with whom Personal Data can be accessed for business purposes (e.g. website hosting, database administration, etc.) is prohibited from releasing or using Personal Data other than for the reasons contained in this Policy.
Under these regulations, we collect a minimum amount of information, store it securely and provide information in a way that is concise, transparent, easily accessible and uses plain language.
It is the role of all employees, contractors and consultants to comply with the Beacon Global Group Privacy & Data Use Policy. The policy is endorsed by senior management and any breaches or failure to comply will be taken very seriously. The policy will be reviewed regularly and amended as necessary – any amendments will be communicated to employees, contractors and consultants.
Personal Information We Collect & Store
We may collect, process and store information that is provided to us from filling out forms on our website, correspondence with us, research surveys, and details of visits to our websites. By using our website, a prospect or client consents to the terms of this policy. They will always be asked to “Opt-In” to provide this information.
When a prospect or client requests information, or schedules an event on our website, we collect a minimum amount of personal data from them. By submitting the request, it means that they voluntarily provide us with this personal data for use as described in “How We Use Personal Information”. This information will be treated as confidential. This data may include names, addresses, telephone numbers, nationality, email address and general correspondence received via electronic and paper form. They agree that such information may be used to provide them with details of services and products in writing, by email, and by phone both by us and by third parties whom we deem suitable to offer them appropriate services and products.
Information that we collect may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA). It may also be processed by staff that work outside the EEA who work for us or our suppliers. By providing personal information, they agree to this transfer, storing and processing.

With regards to any personal information transferred to the United States, Beacon Global Group is committed to complying with the U.S.- E.U. Safe Harbor Framework and U.S.- Swiss Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce
regarding its handling of personal information from European Union member states and Switzerland.
Prospect & Client Rights
A prospect or client have the right to ask:

- that we make changes to their personal information,
- us to stop processing their personal information,
- have their personal information erased
Security & Data Breaches
We process Personal Data in a proper manner and take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification. If, in the unlikely event, a data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk for the rights and freedoms of the prospect or client, then they will be notified within 72 hours of Beacon Global Group first having become aware of the breach.
Social Media
We may utilize social media websites (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to update prospects & clients and other interested parties about events and other news. Their voluntary participation in these social media efforts is subject to the Terms of Service of the relevant
social media website.
Cookies & IP Addresses
Cookies identify users and can store information about them and their use of our website. We use cookies to keep track of prospect & client activity on our website and make improvements. If they do not wish to have a cookie stored on their computer they can
disable them in their browser security options. We always notify a user that our websites use cookies. We do not share cookies with third parties. By accessing or using our website they are agreeing to us using cookies. We may collect information about your computer,
including where available, their IP address.
